Hi my name is Matt Yetter - owner and lead inspector at Sherlock Home Inspections. After graduating from AHIT, I decided to open my own company to offer my expertise in the greater Oregon area. The purpose of Sherlock is to uncover the information that is unseen with a home so that soon-to-be home buyers can make the best decision before purchasing a home.

Being a home owner myself, I realize how stressful the buying process can be. Pressure tactics from the seller or the excitement of home-shopping can influence your decision. Often times, these instances can lead to financial disaster - leading many into a home with problems that they were unaware of.

With this mind, it’s important to note that no home is perfect. Every home will have it’s issues just like people. The purpose of receiving an inspection is not to find a home with no issues but to be aware of them beforehand. In addition, I would highly recommend taking a look at some other things every potential client should consider.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of the American Home Inspectors Training Institute.

• Oregon licensed, bonded, and certified home inspector.

• Certified mold/mildew inspector.

• Certified radon inspector.

• Certified pool and spa inspector.

• Member of OREIA Oregon real estate inspectors association.
